October 2005 I became 40 years old… So it was time for a bit of tradition: every ten years I publish a book. At 30 I published one with poems and short stories (30 copies, for family and friends). At 40 I have been looking for inspiration for some time… eventually the idea came from my girl friend at that time, Gertie, who proposed to publish a cooking book. She appreciated my cooking. The rest of the book is filled with pictures from recent years.
