I have a few roses in my garden, but in a public park nearby, there is a real rose garden. And today there was a ‘rose fest’ (or how would you call it?), an ideal opportunity to grab my camera.
In case you’re interested: all pictures were taken with a 45 year old lens, a Minolta MC Rokkor 58mm f1.2, which was connected via an adapter and some extension tubes to my Sony A7R. All pictures were made at f1.2, so ‘wide open’, which limits the ‘depth of field’. And sometimes gives a special ‘glow’… Nice! 🙂
