The trip to the Alsace region early of August also brought some lighter subjects with it (see post below: The Great War). In the Alsace region you can encounter a stork once in a while (‘cigogne’ in French), which brings me to the birds and the bees (or actually flowers and bees). And of course there were some delicacies in the making: wine grapes…
